We are Gean and Kristine, a passionate Canadian couple who embarked on an incredible journey towards financial independence and full-time travel. Our story began in 2018 when we met through online dating, and since then, we have been inseparable, dreaming of a life filled with adventure and exploration.

In early 2019, we stumbled upon the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement, which transformed our outlook on life. At that time, we were burdened with nearly CAD $60,000 in consumer debt and felt trapped in our conventional jobs. Determined to change our lives, we committed to a strict budget and worked tirelessly to pay off our debt. By the end of that year, we were debt-free, allowing us to redirect our finances towards investments.

Our journey was not without challenges, but through dedication and strategic planning, we achieved financial independence in April 2024—far ahead of our original goal of 2028. This milestone marked a significant turning point in our lives; we sold our home in Canada and embraced the freedom to travel full-time.

Currently, we are exploring the world while sharing our experiences and insights through our YouTube channel and blog. We document everything from budgeting for travel to investment strategies that helped us reach this point. Our goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams of financial freedom and adventure.
