Credit Cards – Canada

  • Collect Membership Reward points that are directly transferable at a 1:1 ratio to many airline and hotel programs

  • Amazing thing with AMEX cards, once you have one, you can refer people to a card and earn referral bonuses! This is great if you and your partner or friends are working together on earning points and miles

Credit Cards – United States

  • Collect Ultimate Reward (UR) points that are directly transferable at a 1:1 ratio to many airline and hotel programs. The UR points are worth more if you decide to redeem through the Chase Travel Portal (1.25  cents)
  • No foreign-transaction fee and good insurance benefits
  • On each account anniversary, you earn bonus points equal to 10% of your total purchases made the previous year
  • Earn up to USD $50 in statement credits each account anniversary year for hotel stays purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards portal

 

  • Each year, receive a $300 travel credit. In addition, each year on your card anniversary, you will receive 10,000 bonus miles (~ $100 in free travel)
